OUR CORE VALUES
Core values are fundamental beliefs that lie at the heart of any organization. They reflect our church culture, determine our behavior, guide the decision making process, and drive the ministry.
While there are many things that we value, the following represent our core values. Core values are those things that are so important to us as a body that they are non-negotiable.

While there are many things that we value, the following represent our core values. Core values are those things that are so important to us as a body that they are non-negotiable.
- God’s Word – as His authoritative revelation to us, the Word of God is our standard for what we believe and how we live. All that we do and teach will be in conformity with Scripture. (Psalm 119:160)
- God’s Word transforms lives – because God’s Word is powerful to save and to sanctify, our ministry is Word centered and Word focused. The preaching and teaching of God’s Word is a high priority within our ministry as we seek to make disciples by teaching people to love and obey Jesus. (I Timothy 3:16; I Peter 1:23; John 17:17)
- Loving People – Love for others is the second greatest commandant and is characterized by a commitment to consider one another as more important than ourselves, serve others, and seek their highest good both materially and spiritually. (Mathew 22:39, I Corinthians 13, I John 3:16-18, Philippians 2:3-4))
- Relationships – We believe God created us to be in relationship with one another and that it is within the context of “one another” loving relationships that we find strength, encouragement, and support to grow in our relationship with Christ. (I Thessalonians 5:11; Proverbs 27:17)
- Loving God – As Creator, Savior, and Lord, we owe God our deepest love. This love is expressed in obedience to His will and commitment to His service. (Matthew 22:37-38)
- Glorifying God – God created and redeemed us for His glory. We will conduct our ministry and live our lives in order to bring glory to God in everything we do including our worship, service, and obedience. (Ephesians 1:5-6; I Corinthians 10:31)
- Local and Global Evangelism – Jesus’ final words while on earth were to go into all the world and make disciples of all nations. This includes the community in which we serve as well as the furthest parts of the world. It is our deepest desire to bring the good news of the gospel to everyone we possibly can by sending missionaries around the world and bearing witness of God’s love in the communities in which we live. (Matthew 28:18-20)
